This Privacy Policy explains what information Packd ("we," "us," or "our") collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to use of packd.cloud and purchases of our products or services.
1. Information We Collect
- Email address — collected when you sign up, purchase a product, join The Vault, or submit a photo editing inquiry, so we can deliver your order and communicate with you.
- Free-resource marketing choice — when you request the Freelancer Client Workflow Starter, we separately record whether you opted into the short sequence of occasional Packd updates. The promised download does not depend on that choice.
- Payment information — when you make a purchase, payment is handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not receive, process, or store your full card number, expiration date, or CVC. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.
- Photos submitted for editing — if you use our photo editing service, we collect the image files (or file links) you provide so we can complete your edit.
- Basic usage and analytics data — such as pages visited, general device/browser information, and referral source, collected automatically to help us understand how the site is used.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To fulfill your orders and deliver purchased digital products;
- To provide and manage your Vault membership, including monthly billing and access to new drops;
- To process and complete photo editing requests, including communicating with you about your order;
- To send transactional emails — receipts, digital product delivery links, order/inquiry status updates, and account-related notices;
- To send the short, permission-based Freelancer Client Workflow Starter follow-up sequence only when you explicitly opt in; every message includes a plain-language unsubscribe link;
- To monitor, maintain, and improve the Services, including understanding aggregate site usage.
The immediate free-resource delivery is separate from marketing consent. We do not send the nurture sequence after an opt-out, unsubscribe, or provider suppression. You can unsubscribe without an account or purchase; this does not cancel transactional resource delivery.
3. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain account information and order history for as long as your account is active, and as needed to comply with our legal and tax obligations. Photos submitted for editing are retained for a limited period after delivery (generally up to 90 days) to support revision requests, after which they may be deleted from our active systems.
You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by emailing hello@packd.cloud. We will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain certain records (e.g., transaction records) for legal or accounting purposes.
4. Third Parties We Work With
- Stripe — processes all payments and subscription billing through Linkedd LLC’s own Stripe account. Stripe may collect and process payment-related data directly, under its own privacy policy.
- Cloudflare — hosts the website, database, and file storage, and protects the site from abusive traffic.
- Resend — delivers our transactional emails (receipts, download links, account notices) and the opt-in follow-up emails.
- First-party attribution — Packd itself records landing page, referrer, and campaign values (such as UTM parameters) to understand which pages lead to signups and orders. This happens only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, stays in Packd’s own systems, and is not shared with analytics or ad networks. See the Cookie Policy.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not share your photos, order details, or contact information with third parties except as needed to operate the Services described above (e.g., our payment processor) or as required by law.
5. Cookies and browser storage
Packd uses first-party cookies and browser storage for member sessions, language preferences, download access after purchase, and first-party campaign/referrer attribution. Packd does not use third-party analytics, advertising pixels, or session replay. Attribution is optional: it runs only after you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, and you can switch to “Reject” any time. It is not required to browse, request the free resource, or enter checkout. See the Cookie Policy for the live storage categories, known durations, and browser controls.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
